THE REALITY OF TURNING 18
What Parents and Advocates of Developmentally Disabled Children Need to Know
Join us for a powerful training session and learn how to navigate the legal options for adults with developmental disabilities. The Florida Justice Technology Center (FJTC) and NSU Shepard Broad College of Law will be offering a half-day, educational event to unveil FJTC's newest online tool, Turning18.org. The website is designed to guide parents of children with developmental disabilities through their legal options as their child becomes an adult. Participants will learn about the different legal options available and receive hands-on training for using the tool.
