File Your Petition

Follow the steps below and then click Next at the bottom of the page

Filing the Petition

You can file your petition in person or online, you only need to do one or the other.

To file your petition in person, take all of your paperwork to your county clerk's office.  Go to County Resources to see your county's information.

To file your petition online, go to the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal to file your petition.  If you don't have an account already, you will need to sign up for an account.  The E-Filing Portal has some questions that can be confusing.  Your county clerk's office can answer procedural questions, go to County Resources to see your county clerk's contact information.
